MaxLinear’s Full-Spectrum Capture™ Tuners with integrated DVB-S2 Demodulators enable satellite operators to deliver multi-channel and multi-screen services. These satellite receivers deliver unmatched signal reception and flexibly support both L-band and extended L-band inputs. They also support global standards for single-cable channel stacking LNBs. The receivers feature MaxLinear’s pioneering Full-Spectrum Capture technology that can receive the entire 4.8GHz satellite spectrum allowing a single-receiver design to offer multi-channel service with channels anywhere in the spectrum as well as advanced features like fast channel change, push VOD, and remote spectrum analysis.
MaxLinear’s digital channel stacking SoCs and Ku-band downconverters enable satellite outdoor units (ODUs) to deliver more channels to the home over a single cable. The downconverters are single-chip solutions that can process the full 12GHz-to-18GHz satellite Ku-band. MaxLinear satellite tuners uniquely feature Full-Spectrum Capture technology allowing one receiver to deliver up to 32 channels. These two products work together as a complete, low power and cost-effective turnkey digital channel-stacking platform that supports the latest single-coaxial cable distribution standards.
